Chow Time!

Well...after some hemming and hawing we finally decided to give the babies their first go at cereal today. Pediatrician gave us the go ahead a few weeks ago but we wanted to wait a bit to make sure they were both really ready. We were pretty sure John Andrew was ready...he has been downing bottles for a while now, seems to be always hungry, and he has been watching us like a hawk when we eat! Lilly on the other hand we weren't so sure about...she still is a light eater and hasn't really shown an interest. Funny though...Lilly did better than John Andrew. She swallowed a bit and even opened her mouth like a little bird a few times. John Andrew wasn't lovin' this at all though...he had no interest and spit out more than I even think went in. All in all - they just aren't ready yet...so...we are going to wait and try again in a week or so. Well here are some pics...enjoy : )

PS-They did great flying solo with Daddy this weekend!!! He did a wonderful job.

Home Sweet Dirt

Well - it looks like we are the proud owners of a big lump of dirt!! We signed the contract to have a home built in Purcellville, VA, today. So exciting and nerve-wrecking at the same time!! Here is a pic of John by our lot sign : )

PS - The babies sat through 3+hours of paper signing and were absolute gems!

Sometimes I think they look nothing alike...and then there are other times...

I was folding laundry on the bed while they played and after a lot of hard play they both rolled into the same position at the exact same time to get ready for a quick snooze!

Belly Time!

They are getting so big!! These were taken last week. They really like being on their bellies now and love their Bumbo chairs where they can sit up like big babies!!

Here is a really cute picture of the two of them together. We had a hard time flipping the pics below (photographer has a lock on them) - but we think we have figured it out a way around it and will go back and try to fix them. Until then...you'll have to turn your head - sorry!
