Summer Fun

Here are some more recent pics. Some from our visit with Nana and Papa Boss in Pawleys Island (we had a great time) and a few others from our ventures around town. More beach pictures to come (still sorting) - but it went much better this time around. John Andrew LOVED the sand, waves, shells...you name it. Lilly...well...what can I say...she takes after her mama. She is more of a pool girl...not loving the sand! She kept yelling "Mama!! Mama! Toe!" for me to come brush grains of sand of her toes! Once she made it down to the hard wet sand and surf she was loving life (from the safety of her crocs that is). And can you believe Miss Lilly!!?? What a difference a month makes. She LOVED the rides this time...looks like an old pro doesn't she!? We found out what the secret was to getting her to give it a try. We quick threw her and John Andrew in a helicopter ride - buckled them up together - threw a pacifier in her mouth - and ran like mad! Before she figured out what was going on the ride started and she was flying through the air. Yeah...I know what you are thinking...but don't worry...we have a fund set up exclusively for her therapy already! Oh...and the porch pictures were taken before our first trip to the County Fair. Forgot the camera in the car. It was a lot of fun. Aunt Meg came along for the fun! .John Andrew LOVED the animals...and the bigger the better (which surprised us). He loved the huge beef cattle (tried to pet one and gave me a heart attck) and the 500lb pigs. Lilly liked the sheep and bunny exhibit. And everybody (except Daddy who went broke) loved the duck game. Remember that one??!! The one where you pick up a rubber duck in the water and turn it over to see what you have won. Ever try to tell a toddler "all done...no more" after the 30th duck!!?? If so - no need to explain...you know how well that went! Lots of screaming...ducks flying...and everybody was wet!
Enjoy!
