Hair Today...Gone Tomorrow
Well the day finally came! We woke up one morning, looked at our sweet babies, and then looked at each other in horror! We had only moved 20 miles west…but I guess that was all it took. Both of our kids had mullets! Watch out Cartoon Cuts…here we come…

Trip to NJ
In June we headed up to NJ to visit with John's family. We stayed at John's brother's house and we (adults) had a good time catching up (and playing Rock Band) and the kids had a blast hanging out with Grandma and Poppy and their cousin Mikey! Saturday, we all headed to the boardwalk. John Andrew and Mikey had a great time on the rides! It was John Andrew's first time. I almost threw up watching my baby go on a ride all by himself like a big boy. I think he wanted to throw up a little too when that fish started moving! But by the time he hit the fire truck ride...he was an old pro and having a great time. "What about Lilly?" you ask...well you can see for yourself how well that went...maybe next time...

Better Late Then Never...
Hi All! Or should I say “y’all” now that we have wandered deeper into Virginia! We are finally settled and loving life in Purcellville. (Just in case you didn't know already...we FINALLY sold our townhouse in May and are now renting a house while we are waiting for our new house to be finished). We love the town a lot. Very cute and homey…like Mayberry…but with a Giant and a 7-11! The first few weeks we were here John and I kept asking each other “Do you know them?” because everybody waves to you while you are out and about. And everyone knows our little wagon. I drag the kids into town almost every day in the wagon…and then we do a neighborhood walk again when dad gets home from work. The house we are renting (a 1910 Victorian right on Main Street)…well let’s just say it is “interesting.” Don’t get me wrong, it is a neat old house with the original wood floors and tin roof and transoms…but it is OLD...with all the creaks and “creepy things” that come along with old houses (like strange noises, door knobs that fall off in your hand, and a wet cellar that I have yet to enter…and if all goes well…I will never have to). But the house is in a great location, it has a great yard and the kids (man I hope this doesn’t jinx us) have slept like ROCKS since the day we moved in. Here are some pictures...
